Hilltop Boulevard

Hilltop Boulevard on way to Nainital painted using Acrylic Colours

Nainital is a beautiful hill station in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is situated at an altitude of 2,084 metres (6,837 ft) above sea level. It is nestled in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas. The town is set in a valley containing a mango-shaped lake and is surrounded by mountains.

This painting is depicting the monsoon season in Nainital.  Because of the rains, all the hills on the way to Nainital are lush green and look very beautiful. An empty road is vanishing into the forest as seen from a hilltop. Akanksha has painted this beautiful Hilltop Boulevard with acrylic colours. The sun-kissed greenery all around has been painted using skillful combinations of green and yellow.
