Infant Art

The Infant Art featured on this page represent the earliest days of my journey as an artist. These pieces were created when I was just starting out and at a time when I had no formal training or understanding of traditional techniques. My art back then was driven purely by a desire to express myself and a passion for putting brush to canvas. I didn't have a plan or a specific style in mind. Instead, I simply let my imagination take the lead which allowed my intuition to guide each stroke. Every piece presented here on The Cuckoo's Nest is a snapshot of a moment in time and a reflection of my creative process as I explored different ideas, emotions, and methods.

Looking back, I realize that these paintings capture the essence of uninhibited creativity. There were no rules to follow or expectations to meet and that gave me the freedom to experiment with colours, textures, and forms. I was not concerned with whether something was technically correct or aligned with conventional standards. Instead, I focused on the joy of creating something new and original. Each painting became a playground for my imagination where I could explore the limits of my creativity without fear of judgment or failure. The results before you are a collection of works that, while perhaps rough around the edges, are brimming with raw energy and emotion.

These early works are a testament to the power of intuition and the beauty of learning by doing. I hope that by sharing them, you can see how my journey as an artist began—not with perfect strokes or carefully planned compositions, but with a willingness to explore and a genuine love for the act of creation.
